Saint Obi, a legendary Nollywood actor, was laid to rest on Thursday, August 3. His family revealed the details of his funeral service.
Earlier in 2023, there were reports of Saint Obi’s passing on May 7 after battling an undisclosed ailment. Following his demise, his body was taken to JUTH mortuary after a visit to his sister’s residence at 13 Metropolitan Street in Tudun Wada, Jos.
The family has scheduled his burial for August 18, as indicated in a flyer cited by Gistreel.com. The funeral service will be held in Umuezealaeze, Alaenyi Ogwa, Imo state, which is their hometown.
The Nwafor family of Ogwa, Imo State, cordially invites well-wishers to join them in bidding farewell to their beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and son, Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi. The funeral service and interment will take place at Saint Obi’s family home, Umuezealaeze, Alaenyi Ogwa, Imo State.
