Oyo lawmakers re-elect Fadeyi as Deputy Speaker

Muhammed Abiodun Fadeyi, the representative of Ona Ara state constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, has been re-elected as the Deputy Speaker of the House. The re-election took place during the inauguration of the 10th Assembly on Wednesday.

Fadeyi regained his position shortly after Adebo Ogundoyin emerged as the Speaker of the House. Fadeyi, who initially served as Deputy Speaker in 2019, was nominated by Razak Mabaje.

The state governor, Seyi Makinde, along with other prominent government officials, attended the inauguration ceremony.
