Shallipopi breaks silence on allegations of paying N9m for ‘streaming farm’

Shallipopi has responded to allegations that he paid N9 million to buy “fake streams” to boost the position of his tracks on digital music charts. The claim was made by Ebaide, an aspiring singer, who accused a music influencer of defrauding her by taking money under false pretenses of increasing her music streams but failing to deliver.

In response, Shallipopi, through his X handle, dismissed the allegations as “fake,” refuting the accusations made by Ebaide.

He said the allegations were the handiwork of attention-seekers.

He wrote, “Fake!! Y’all are looking for attention with the wrong content and think it’s right? 9m wey I go take chill make I leave Plutomanias to dey stream!! Anyway, your karma is coming.”
