It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, Nigeria’s tallest man and actor. At the age of 48, he passed away on Wednesday night at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) following an extended illness. The news of his demise was shared on Thursday by popular Twitter influencer, Pamilerin Adegoke.

In a tweet, Adegoke confirmed the unfortunate news, stating, “Nigerian tallest man Afeez Agoro Oladimeji is dead after suffering from prolonged sickness.”

Born in Sabo Yaba, Lagos State, Oladimeji stood at an impressive height of 2.25 meters (7 ft 4 in). He had been bedridden for the past eight months prior to his passing.

The loss of Afeez Agoro Oladimeji is a great loss to the entertainment industry, and he will be remembered for his remarkable stature and contributions to the acting world. May his soul rest in peace.
