Actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, popularly known as Ashabi Simple, has opened up about her unexpected marriage to singer Portable.

In an interview with Face TV Africa, she revealed that it was never her intention to marry someone from the entertainment industry, particularly a fellow actor or musician. Despite her initial reservations, she expressed happiness in her marriage, highlighting the singer’s supportiveness and considering it a fresh start for her.

Ashabi acknowledged her initial fears of facing criticism when she first started dating Portable, given his controversial reputation. However, she believes that her journey is not over and sees it as a positive new chapter in her life.
