I almost died before my music blew up – Rapper, Odumodublvck

Odumodublvck, a rising Nigerian hip-hop artist known as Tochukwu Ojogwu, shared a story of how he believed God used Wizkid, the Grammy award-winning singer, to indicate that he would become a star.

After undergoing a major surgery in 2022 and being discharged from the hospital, Odumodublvck received a call from friends informing him that Wizkid had given his song “Picanto,” featuring Zlatan Ibile, a co-sign by sharing it on social media.

According to Odumodublvck, this gesture from Wizkid was a sign from God that he would achieve success. He expressed gratitude for surviving the surgery and believed that everything that followed was a result of God’s intervention.

Odumodublvck shared this story during an episode of the Body & Soul podcast hosted by singer Joeboy, emphasizing that the incident with Wizkid marked the beginning of something extraordinary in his career.
