Renowned Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has addressed the attempts made by other chefs to surpass her Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual).

In May 2023, Baci made history by cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes, surpassing the previous record set by an Indian chef. Following her achievement, other chefs such as Chef Dammy and Chef Adeola embarked on their own cooking marathons, with Chef Dammy cooking for 120 hours and Chef Adeola for 150 hours.

However, Baci clarified that she sees herself as a trailblazer and an inspiration for those who aspire to break her record. She acknowledged that while others may attempt to surpass her feat, she remains proud of her accomplishment and the impact it has had on others.
