Youths from Benin pour out in large numbers to express their disapproval of popular transvestite Bobrisky’s presence in the country following his alleged insults to the Oba.
The socialite caused a lot of controversy and outrage the previous year when he joked in a video that the Oba of Benin should come and marry him.
Many young people in Benin view this as an affront to their culture and have labeled him as persona non grata.
Many young people took to the streets to demonstrate against the crossdresser’s planned return to the state for an event, as word spread about it.
They were seen holding placards which conveyed their displeasure in such words as “He is a bad influence; We don’t want him in our state”.
