Governor Adeleke appoints board chairmen

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has given his approval for the appointment of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of non-statutory boards in the state. This announcement comes shortly after the Governor swore in 25 commissioners and three permanent secretaries.

According to a statement released by the Governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the appointments are effective immediately. The newly appointed Chairmen and Vice Chairmen for various boards in the state are as follows:

1. Osun State University, UNIOSUN – Prof. Wale Oladipo
2. University of Ilesa, UNILESA – Gbenga Onigbogi
3. Osun State Polytechnic, Iree – Diran Ayanbeku
4. Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke – Diran Odeyemi
5. College of Education, Ila-Orangun – Elder Peter Babalola
6. College of Health Technology, Ilesa – Senator Felix Ogunwale
7. Local Government Service Commission – Tunji Adeleke
8. Hospital Management Board – Dr. K. K. Arinoye (Chairman) and Elder Dosu Adetayo (Vice-Chairman)
9. State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB – Ibukun Fadipe
10. Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC – Muyiwa Olowo (Chairman) and Lanre Laoye (Vice-Chairman)
11. Osun State Primary Healthcare Development Board – Tajudeen Adisa
12. Osun State Water Corporation, OSWC – Olayinka Samson Oyedotun
13. Osun State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) – Maruf Ishola
14. Osun State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Christian Wing) – Elder Funsho Ishola
