In response to her recent online outcry, Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has emphasized the influential role of social media. After posting about her issue with GTBank, where she stated that the bank had held onto her N510,000 for over three months, Afolabi updated her followers by sharing that her outcry on the internet had a miraculous effect.

She revealed that GTB’s Fraud Unit had ensured the return of the money that she had mistakenly transferred to one of the bank’s customers. Afolabi expressed her gratitude to her fans for supporting her and credited the power of social media for achieving a positive outcome.
