Renowned singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has removed the short clip from the controversial video of his signee, Logos Olori’s new single ‘Jaye Lo’ from his Twitter account.
The clip had depicted people praying and dancing in front of a mosque, which received significant criticism from many, calling for the video’s deletion and an apology to Muslims for perceived disrespect to Islam. After initially disregarding the criticisms, Davido finally removed the “offensive” video from his Twitter page on Sunday. However, he is yet to issue an apology to the Muslim community at the time of this report.
