Nigerian singer and songwriter BNXN has officially released his latest project, Still In Charge. Released on October 1, 2026, the six-track EP arrives as another addition to the artist’s growing catalog following his successful album CAPTAIN and his collaborative project with Sarz, The Game Needs Us. The project was released through T.Y.E. / EMPIRE and features guest appearances from Asake and FOLA.
The EP title continues the confident theme introduced by CAPTAIN, reinforcing BNXN’s self-assured approach and position within the Afrobeats scene. Industry reports confirmed the project ahead of release, highlighting Asake and FOLA as the only featured artists.
Tracklist
The EP opens with “Eja Meja,” featuring Asake, one of BNXN’s biggest collaborations of 2026. Released ahead of the project, the song quickly became a fan favorite and helped build anticipation for the EP.
The second track, “Online,” serves as BNXN’s solo statement on the project. Released shortly before the EP, the song showcased the melodic style that has become synonymous with the singer’s sound.
Tracks such as “16” and “Deliberate Work” allow BNXN to carry the project on his own, focusing on his songwriting and vocal delivery without guest appearances.
The fifth track, “Shamaya,” reunites BNXN with FOLA, following their successful collaboration on “Very Soon.” The chemistry between both artists continues on this new record, giving listeners another memorable collaboration.
The EP concludes with “If You Like,” bringing the six-track project to a close and rounding off a concise but impactful release.
One of the defining features of Still In Charge is its compact structure. Rather than stretching the project across numerous songs, BNXN delivers six focused tracks that blend solo records with carefully selected collaborations. The EP balances established star power through Asake with the rising momentum of FOLA, while keeping BNXN firmly at the center of the project.
From “Eja Meja” to “If You Like,” Still In Charge continues BNXN’s run as one of Afrobeats’ leading voices and adds another notable project to his 2026 discography.
