Hotkid, a Nigerian singer, has accused a show promoter of stealing over N10 million from a woman and other people by pretending to be him.
The singer gave him a 24-hour deadline to pay the woman and everyone he owed while posting a picture of the gig promoter.
Following the singer’s alleged deception, fans flooded his direct message, claiming they, too, had fallen victim.
Additionally, Hotkid stated that the show promoter was the reason behind his arrest—he had no idea about the money.
On his Instagram story, he wrote: “Wanted! He IS A THIEF! I’m giving you just 24hours to pay up the lady and everyone else you collected money from in my name!!! Else you’d hate yourself.
“Accumulatively Collected over 10million naira from different people! They came to arrest me for money I had no idea about!!!! Because of this @brave_t.tey OLOSHI OLORIBURUKU!!!!! Naso people Dey enter wahala wey no be their own oo IMAGINE!”
