The talented south African record producer, Jay Jody present new exclusive project titled “Revenge Is Sweet” which entails six Lp tracks.
With only 6 tracks and a scattering of guests, including Jay Jody’s brother—who is notoriously difficult to book for a feature—this compilation is actually quite lean. The album’s opening track, “Free,” was a collaboration with his brother.
Loatinover Pounds and AV are the other performers on the song. The EP seemed to be made about Jay Jody. He limited himself to just a few musicians so he can rap and properly present himself.
Really, we should consider that a victory because there is nothing more upsetting than a crowded compilation where the project’s creator is forced to sing a solo album. Nevertheless, I digress.
